Recruitment – the Greatest Sport on Earth?
Imagine having a career where you get to have these great feelings and sense of reward every week.
Recruitment has many parallels to playing top level sports.
What other industry allows you such a wide range of skill development opportunities?
Do you like having raving fans?
Like a top performing sports person you will begin to acquire raving fans. These will be in the form of clients who love what you do for them, they’ll talk of how they have finally found a consultant who understands them and delivers them great people.
But that’s only one set of the fans you will acquire – there is another whole group of fans that you will have to – the candidates you place. These are the people whose lives you will literally change overnight. You place them in their dream job, increase their income and create life enhancing opportunities for them. These people will be some of your greatest fans.
Like being in top level sports it takes a little bit of time and dedication to play and win at the top level of recruitment. You can’t just walk onto the “field or court” and win straight away. That would be boring anyway and who wants to work in a career that delivers you safety, comfort and mediocrity? For sure – at times we all want to have a little of this, but is this really living?
The recruitment industry is like no other industry, like life on the sporting field there are many moments, some to savour, and some to forget. There are rich rewards for the winners and just like sport you will achieve a higher level of yourself by participating.
Are you ready to play the game?
The recruitment world is waiting…..
