Established in 1972, our journey has been a exceptional one, marked by growth, adaptation, and unwavering commitment to connecting job seekers with employers.


  • the 70's

    In 1972, Enterprise Recruitment was founded by Leo McDonald and Alan Hall, two pioneers in the emerging staffing selection industry. They embarked on their journey at a time when the industry was in its infancy. During a conversation with a bank manager, Enterprise secured its first project recruitment project,  kickstarting its growth. By the end of the 1970s, Enterprise had already established a strong presence in the Auckland market, with three branches serving major clients and industries.

  • the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s

    Throughout the 1980s, Enterprise experienced a decade of notable prosperity, capitalizing on a growing economy with a consistent influx of job orders, receptive clients, and a dependable candidate pool. As the 90s arrived, Enterprise reached its 25th anniversary in May 1997, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for expanding its presence into Wellington and Hamilton. In the 2000s, the company's growth trajectory continued with the establishment of its Christchurch branch, a project initiated by Ian McPherson and Warwick Neutze, who brought their expertise from the industrial temp market.


    Subsequent milestones included the inauguration of the Invercargill branch in 2002 and the Wellington branch in 2007. The year 2010 marked a critical juncture, as the devastating Christchurch earthquakes presented a significant challenge.
