Chancellor Merkel, offered her support to working towards a free trade agreement between the European union and New Zealand and is very positive about the future of the two countries. It was a privilege to listen to a world leader present to a motivated audience in such an engaging way.
Steve Martin said it was a good humoured occasion where a relaxed Chancellor Merkel took time to chat with NZGBA members and even posed for a few “selfies” with an admiring audience.
