Enterprise is committed to working with our clients to ensure they provide a safe workplace that ensure you get home safely each day. If at any time you feel that you haven't been inducted properly or your work environment is unsafe or that you are not suitably trained or competent to do your duties, you must stop working and advise your Supervisor and Enterprise Recruitment Consultant.
On all assignments you will be given a Site Health & Safety Induction, including emergency evacuation instructions. Please watch the WorkSafe video (click here) that provides good general tips on working safely and the importance of speaking up.
Reliable attendance of all our staff is essential in order for us to continue to offer you opportunities. If you are running late, unwell or unable to attend work for any reason please contact Enterprise Recruitment immediately. Afterhours contact information will have been provided to you. Failure to notify us of your absence may result in the early termination of your assignment. Please refer to the Schedule below for your start and finish times. You are legally entitled to breaks in your day. We will advise you of how breaks are structured or your Supervisor will advise during your site induction.
Please remember Enterprise Recruitment is your employer so contact us with any questions. Enterprise should manage any changes to your shift pattern, duties as well as any other matters of discussion between our host client and yourself.
Enterprise has a Safety and Wellness Committee that we welcome your input into. There is an annual election in February that you will be advised of. We recognise that, due to the nature of the work we provide, not everyone is available to participate at election time so we welcome your input into safety at any time. To discuss joining the committee or to make any suggestions about how safety and wellness can be improved talk to your Enterprise Consultant or contact Ian McPherson at safety@enterprise.co.nz
Enterprise Recruitment are in the ACC Accredited Employers Programme, meaning that if you have an accident whilst at work your treatment and rehabilitation will be managed by Enterprise and our third party administrator (TPA) Wellnz, according to the Accident Compensation Act 2001. It’s important that you advise Enterprise Recruitment as soon as practicable if the duties change. We need to ensure that you have the appropriate skills, training and, if necessary, licences to safely and competently complete the new tasks. Your pay rate may also be affected by a change of duties.
