Calm in the Chaos. Strong in the Stride.

Most people fall into recruitment. Karleene chased it.

Long before she officially joined the Enterprise team, Karleene knew she wanted a career that was fast-paced, people-focused, and filled with opportunities to grow. Recruitment stood out not just as a job, but as a career that could push her personally and professionally while giving her the chance to make a real impact.

“It’s not just about filling roles,” she reflects. “It’s about helping people take the next step in their career or helping a business find the right fit to thrive. That’s powerful.”

After gaining initial exposure to the industry and spending time working as a temp herself, Karleene set her sights on the recruitment desk. She threw herself into gaining more experience and eventually joined our Auckland office. Home to some of our most seasoned consultants, many with over a decade of experience under their belts. It’s a high-performing environment, and one that’s shaped her quickly.

Thrown into the dynamic world of blue-collar temp recruitment, Karleene has had to grow fast. The pace is intense, the variables are constant, and the stakes are real but she’s embraced every challenge with drive and curiosity.

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s not to sweat the stuff you can’t control. Things won’t always go to plan and that’s okay,” she says. “I’ve built resilience, learned how to stay calm under pressure, and kept going even when the day’s been tough. It makes the wins that much more meaningful.”

Still early in her career, Karleene’s already showing that experience isn’t the only thing that makes a great recruiter, attitude does too. With her tenacity and love for learning, she’s forging her own path in recruitment, one placement at a time.
