We're recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for a well-established organisation based near Christchurch Airport. This is a hands-on leadership position running a busy distribution operation, with a team of 20+ reporting to you.
You'll own the day-to-day: making sure stock moves in and out accurately and on time, that the floor is properly resourced across each shift, and that your team is clear on what's expected of them. It's a role for someone who leads from the front — visible on the floor, setting the standard, and stepping in to sort problems rather than waiting for them to escalate.
Alongside the daily running of the site, you'll be expected to look for ways to do things better, whether that's tightening up pick processes, improving dispatch accuracy or reducing turnaround times. Monday to Friday, no weekends, with a genuine opportunity to shape how the site operates.
The role:
- Lead and supervise a warehouse team of up to 20+ staff
- Ensure inbound and outbound goods are processed accurately and on time
- Coordinate picking, packing, dispatch and replenishment
- Drive continuous improvement to lift efficiency and service levels
- Proven warehouse supervisory or team leader experience
- Someone who leads from the front and is comfortable holding people to account
- Confident having challenging conversations while keeping relationships positive
- Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, direct environment
- Full Class 1 driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
- $29/hr, Monday to Friday — no weekends
