Do you know your trucks, drivers, and transport operations inside out?
We're looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to help keep a busy operation running smoothly. You'll coordinate transport jobs, liaise with drivers and suppliers, manage scheduling, and ensure the right resources are allocated to the right jobs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands transport operations and enjoys being at the centre of the action.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating daily transport bookings and collections
- Scheduling and allocating work across the fleet
- Supporting drivers and operational staff
- Managing supplier enquiries and logistics coordination
- Maintaining dispatch and operational records
- Assisting with weighbridge and customer service functions when required
- Supporting health and safety processes
What we're looking for
- Experience in transport operations, dispatch, logistics, or fleet coordination
- Background in trucking, heavy transport, cranes, civil, waste, or quarrying
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with drivers and suppliers
- Good computer skills and attention to detail
- Full NZ working rights
Nice to have
- Class 5 Licence would be first prize
- Weighbridge experience is nice to have
