Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Temporary Erector specialising in Structural Steel to join our team in Lower Hutt.
The successful candidate/s will be responsible for assembling and installing structural steel frameworks for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
- Operate hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the erection process.
- Proven experience in structural steel erection.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
