What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing solar, battery, and microgrid installations.
- Working on a mix of residential, commercial, and off-grid projects.
- Commission advanced energy systems, including batteries, generators, and control interfaces
- Troubleshooting and optimising system performance using monitoring tools and control systems.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical standards and health & safety regulations.
- Travelling to project sites across the region (and occasionally remote locations).
- Registered Electrician (EWRB preferred or eligible).
- 3+ years of experience in solar and battery installations, including off-grid or hybrid systems.
- Excellent problem-solving ability across AC/DC systems.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and on commercial rooftops.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- Experience with SCADA, automation, or remote monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of battery management systems and energy control software.
- Training or certification in workplace safety (e.g. Site Safe, First Aid, H&S Leadership)
- Competitive hourly ($45–$50 per hour, depending on experience)
