Are you a seasoned Site Manager ready to hit the ground running on a diverse portfolio of builds? We’re partnering with a well-established construction team to find a driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering high quality results.
 
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension, offering the chance to lead exciting projects across the Wellington region.
 

About the Role
 
As Site Manager, you will be the key on-the-ground leader responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec. You’ll coordinate trades, manage site logistics, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly.
 
Key responsibilities include :
  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations across residential and / or commercial builds
  • Managing subcontractors, materials, and schedules to meet project milestones
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety protocols and site documentation
  • Leading toolbox talks, site meetings, and progress reporting
  • Conducting quality assurance checks and resolving site issues proactively
  • Liaising with project managers, consultants, and suppliers to ensure alignment

You’re a confident site leader with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, solutions-focused mindset. You know how to get the best out of your team and keep things moving, even when challenges arise.
 
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience managing construction sites (residential and/or commercial)
  • Strong planning, coordination, and leadership skills
  • LBP Certified
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency with site management systems and digital tools
  • A proactive, safety-first approach to site operations
