Service Lane Valet / Groomer

If you’re someone who takes pride in doing a job properly, enjoys being around vehicles and is comfortable dealing with customers, this could be a great opportunity to join a busy automotive service environment.
We’re looking for a Service Lane Valet / Groomer to help keep the customer experience running smoothly. You’ll be looking after vehicles once they’ve been through the workshop, giving them a quick clean before they’re returned to their owners, while also helping customers get where they need to go after dropping their vehicle off.
What you’ll be doing
Your day will be varied and hands-on, including:
- Giving customer vehicles a quick wash after servicing
- Making sure vehicles are presented clean and tidy before being returned
- Driving customers home or to work after they drop off their vehicle
- Moving vehicles around the service area as required
- Helping the wider service team keep things organised and moving
- Providing friendly, professional service when dealing with customers
What we’re looking for
You don’t necessarily need automotive experience. More important is having the right attitude and being someone the team and customers can rely on.
You’ll be:
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Practical and happy working in a hands-on role
- Careful and respectful when handling customers’ vehicles
- Able to work well as part of a busy team
- Well presented with good communication skills
- A confident and responsible driver (auto & manual vehicles) with a current full NZ driver licence
