Enterprise Recruitment is proud to partner with our rural service client in Mid and South Canterbury as they continue to grow their operations across the region. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead service delivery across Ashburton and Timaru. This is a busy, hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee service operations across both locations, supporting a team of technicians while ensuring customers receive outstanding service. You'll be responsible for coordinating workloads and schedules, managing inventory and parts procurement, leading health and safety initiatives, and ensuring the service department runs efficiently day-to-day. Experience in agriculture, trades, engineering, maintenance or service environments will be highly regarded.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with management to deliver set objectives and operational improvement
- Lead and support a team of field technicians
- Schedule maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and installations
- Manage inventory, stock control and parts ordering
- Build strong relationships with farming customers
- Conduct toolbox meetings and champion a positive safety culture
- Ensure health and safety compliance and reporting requirements are met
- Monitor job progress, service quality and technician productivity

- Operations Supervisor
- Trades Team Leader
- Service or Workshop Supervisor
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Experience coordinating teams and workloads
- Knowledge of health and safety systems and practices
- Stock, inventory or procurement experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A practical, organised, solutions-focused approach
- Experience managing a diverse and dynamic workload and environment
