About the Role
This is not just another hardware job. You’ll own the design process end-to-end—starting with concept sketches and hand-drawn schematics before moving into PCB layouts and complete hardware solutions that integrate features like Bluetooth connectivity and embedded functionality. From concept to production, you’ll shape systems that meet rigorous international standards for reliability and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead hardware design from initial paper-based concepts through schematic capture, PCB layout, and design for manufacture.
- Develop innovative circuits and devices for high-reliability applications.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams to deliver robust, dependable products.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IPC, CE, and RoHS standards.
- Contribute to projects that make a real-world impact.
- 10+ years’ experience in electronic hardware design—combining strong fundamentals with modern innovation.
- Solid experience in “grassroots design”(essential) —starting with pen and paper to combine all requirements into a clear, functional concept.
- Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power systems, and signal integrity.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium or similar).
- Hands-on debugging and testing experience with lab tools.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and standard interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART).
- Bonus: experience with ruggedised or safety-critical systems.
- Creating technology that matters—solutions designed to make a real impact and ensure reliability in demanding environments.
- Be part of a close-knit engineering team locally where your expertise truly counts
- You will be joining an international leader who have decades of innovation
- Competitive salary and benefits, plus the chance to work on projects that push boundaries.
