We are looking for an experienced Relocation Operations Coordinator to join our team from March 2026. The successful candidate will be working on a long‑term assignment with our client – a renowned and dedicated commercial moving company specialising in relocations and construction and is based in Ngauranga, Wellington. This is an ongoing assignment through Enterprise Recruitment.
 
 
About the Role - Job Description
 
The Relocations Operations Coordinator is accountable for overseeing the team responsible for completing all relocation‑related tasks to a high standard. This includes:
  • Overseeing teams completing packing and moving of office contents and furniture
  • Ensuring the safety of the team and the items being delivered
  • Working with power tools and supporting large‑scale furniture pack‑downs and assembly
  • Supporting relocation activities involving servers, IP address patches, and unique workstation setups
  • Applying Health and Safety practices throughout all tasks
  • Communicating clearly and confidently with staff and clients


Skills, Experience & Qualifications
 
This role requires specialised technical and operational skills that are essential for delivering complex commercial relocations. To be successful in this role you will possess:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or a relevant Level 7 qualification
  • Staff management and training experience
  • A strong background showing evidence of reliability, honesty, and physical fitness
  • A full clean driver’s licence: Class 2 would be desirable
  • Fleet management experience
  • The ability to assess and scope relocation moves to allocate resources and oversee quality and deadlines
  • A degree in IT or strong proven skills in this area, enabling a quality result when packing down and reassembling servers, IP address patches and unique workstations
  • Experience using hand tools is essential; experience with furniture such as Europlan and Shape Interiors is preferred, as is the ability to work with electric workstations
  • Health and Safety experience is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently


Hours & Pay
  • You will be guaranteed at least 30 hours’ work per week
  • Pay rates will depend on experience and will range from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
