The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics across industrial electrical systems
- Maintaining cranes, motors, drives and production equipment
- Supporting equipment reliability and plant performance
- Working collaboratively within a skilled maintenance team
- Mentoring apprentices and sharing technical knowledge where required
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Current New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) practising licence, or an Australian equivalent.
- NZ Level 4 electrical trade qualification (or NZQA assessed equivalent)
- Strong industrial, manufacturing, mining or heavy process experience
- Advanced fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on large-scale production equipment
- Strong understanding of industrial health and safety systems, , isolation, risk assessments and safe work practices.
- The ability to work rotating shift rosters
