The Role
You’ll assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and managing budgets across all stages of construction, from concept to completion. Working closely with the Owner/Operator, Project Manager, site teams, and subcontractors, you’ll gain real-world experience and build your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates for tenders and live projects.
- Review drawings and documents for pricing and quantity take-offs.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to tender submissions and pricing strategies.
- Track project costs and variations under guidance.
- Support cost reporting and forecasting.
- Assist senior staff with post-contract administration.
- Train and develop Junior QS.
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Familiarity with CostX or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
