We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technologist to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to maintaining high food quality standards within a manufacturing environment. This is a full time position starting immediately. The role is for one month initially, with opportunity for extension. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with chemical and sensory testing as required
  • Carry out cleaning inspections and swabbing procedures
  • Oversee shelf life testing and manage aged stock
  • Handle the management of non-conforming stock
  • Conduct GMP, pre-start, and post-production inspections
  • Lead corrective action plans and root cause analysis, while driving improvements to the sensory assessment program
  • Assist with internal audits and preparation for BRC audits
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols on-site
  • Undertake additional QC/QA tasks or projects as directed by the Quality Manager
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Food Science or Food Technology
  • At least 2 years of experience in a QA role within food manufacturing
  • Experience in internal auditing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer literate (MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook)
