Partnering with specialised civil infrastructure business, we’re on the hunt for a talented Project Manager to take ownership of key projects across Christchurch; with a strong focus on water, drainage, directional drilling, and underground services.
About the Role:
You won’t just be managing projects; you’ll be driving them.
Your role will include:
- Leading projects from planning right through to completion
- Overseeing water, wastewater, stormwater, and underground service installs
- Coordinating directional drilling and trenchless operations
- Managing crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant
- Programming works, monitoring costs, and handling variations
- Working closely with councils, engineers, inspectors, and clients
- Embedding strong H&S, environmental, and quality practices on site
What You Bring:
We’re looking for someone who knows civil infrastructure and enjoys being on site where it all happens.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager (or Senior PM) in civil construction
- Strong background in water, drainage, and underground services
- Directional drilling/trenchless experience (a real advantage)
- Solid understanding of NZ standards and council processes
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Real ownership of your projects
