Job Title: Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in Lower Hutt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of the NZ building code, NZ standards (incl. NZS3910, 3604: 2011)
  • MS project qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
