Plumber / Hydraulic Services Technician
Temporary(with a view to Temp-to-Perm) | $42–$44 per hour
We're looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team on a temporary basis, with strong potential to move to a permanent role for the right person. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving plumbing issues across a wide range of commercial, government, and institutional facilities.
Core Duties
- Respond to plumbing faults, blockages, leaks, and urgent call-outs
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on water systems, water heaters, backflow devices, and valves
- Repair or replace water lines and sewer lines
- Complete minor installation and upgrade works (tapware, pipework, hot water units, fixtures)
- Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and Health & Safety standards
Who We're Looking For
- For NZ-qualified Tradesman or Certifying Plumber (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2–3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills
- Clear communication and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full, clean NZ driver's licence
- Site Safe or Construct Safe
