About the Role
This is a hands-on, outdoor-based position where you’ll be using a plasma cutter to break down large steel items. You’ll work on a wide range of thick steel and metal, both at our onsite facility and projects on-site across the Wellington region.
Key responsibilities:
- Use an accelerated jet of hot plasma to cut through heavy steel
- Perform breakdown work with variety and challenge
- Work independently and travel to different sites as needed

- A relevant qualification (nice to have)
- 3+ years of proven experience operating a plasma cutter (essential)
- Physically fit, agile, and comfortable working outdoors
- Self-motivated, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Must have full work rights and be based in New Zealand
