We’re supporting a well‑established organisation in the primary industries / food processing sector who are looking for someone to join their Livestock Administration team in Ashburton.
This is a varied, admin‑heavy role with a strong focus on payments, reconciliations, and data accuracy, offering the chance to work closely with operations, finance, and external stakeholders.
About the role
In this role, you’ll support day‑to‑day operations by managing and checking payment‑related information, reconciling data across systems, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
You’ll be involved in:
- Processing and reconciling payments and invoices
- Reviewing data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers
- Supporting reporting and general administration using Excel and internal systems
- Helping maintain smooth, efficient processes in a fast-paced environment
About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience in a senior or experienced administration role, particularly one involving complex information
- A solid understanding of numbers and basic accounting principles
- Confidence working across multiple systems, with strong Excel skills
- A proven ability to spot errors and resolve discrepancies
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to stay calm and accurate in a deadline‑driven environment
- A proactive, self‑directed approach and confidence working independently
