Operations Coordinator
We’re looking for an administrator to support our client in Ashburton. This full‑time, permanent position offers variety, hands‑on tasks, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

If you enjoy working with great people, juggling different responsibilities, and being the “go‑to” support person for a small but dedicated team, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the role:
You’ll provide day‑to‑day administrative, operational, and financial support, helping ensure things run smoothly and efficiently. This position is a key support role to the manager and wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General administrative and operational support
  • Processing expenses, purchase orders, and managing trade accounts
  • Supporting budgeting and financial tracking
  • Soil and environmental sampling ( hands‑on ), managing data, and analysing results to identify anomalies
  • Supporting contractors onsite, including H&S documentation
  • Assisting with farm maintenance, including equipment and fleet management (WOFs, servicing etc.)
  • Helping keep farm operations running smoothly - rain or shine 
About you:
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
  • Highly organised, reliable, and proactive
  • Comfortable working autonomously - calm, practical and able to handle competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
  • Comfortable with a mix of office and hands‑on outdoor tasks
  • Confident with technology and systems (including solid Excel skills)
