Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of our business. This part-time role (25 hours per week) is critical to ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting management, and maintaining accurate records across administration, finance, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Management
- Manage all general office administration and daily operations
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for suppliers, service providers, and internal staff
- Coordinate office processes, systems, and improvements to support efficiency
- Handle correspondence, email management, and scheduling as required
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare basic financial reports for management
- Liaise with external accountants or bookkeepers as required
- Process staff payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain employee records, timesheets, and leave balances
- Ensure payroll obligations are met in line with relevant legislation
- Manage ordering of stock, office supplies, and consumables
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing
- Proven experience in an Office Manager or senior administrative role
- Strong experience with finance, invoicing, and payroll processes
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using accounting, payroll, and office software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information
- Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Part-time: 25 hours per week (5 hours per day)
