Mechanical Fitter (Production Environment)
Are you a practical, hands-on Mechanical Fitter looking for a dynamic role that offers variety and daily challenge?

We’re working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry —an organisation known for its world-class products, innovation, and strong values. With decades of experience delivering critical healthcare solutions worldwide, this is a rare chance to join a stable, high-performing team in a technically diverse environment.

The Role:
You’ll take ownership of the maintenance and smooth operation of a wide range of plant equipment and utilities, from HVAC systems and boilers to air compressors and cleanroom technology. It’s a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, and working across both mechanical and light electrical systems.

This is not a narrow, repetitive job —you’ll be the go-to for everything maintenance-related across the site, helping drive uptime, performance, and compliance in a GMP-regulated setting.

You’ll Be Involved In:

  • Ensuring the availability and performance of all mechanical/electrical equipment on site
  • Diagnosing faults and managing reactive and planned maintenance
  • Coordinating contractors and overseeing project timelines and standards
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and site upgrades
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with GMP, SOPs, and Health & Safety requirements
What We’re Looking For:
  • Trade-qualified fitter with +/-5 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • An electrical service ticket (EST/EAS/EWRB) or experience in electrical systems and equipment will be a great advantage
  • Broad experience across HVAC, pumps, hydraulics, generators, air systems, and more
  • Background in a GMP, pharmaceutical, food, or clean production environment is preferred. Alternatively, any production environment is essential.
  • A true generalist —adaptable, curious, and technically resourceful
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • We need someone who is a resident/citizen or has an open work visa.
What’s On Offer:
  • Join a respected, stable organisation with global reach and opportunities
  • Work in a technically rich environment with room to grow and diversify
  • No two days are the same —this is a role for someone who enjoys thinking on their feet
  • A close-knit, professional team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
