About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance of sophisticated, state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical machinery.
You’ll play a key role in:
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure machine availability.
  • Maintaining safety standards and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Managing spare parts and consumables.
  • Coaching junior technicians and supporting operational staff.
  What We’re Looking For
  • Mechanical qualification/trade 
  • Experience with both mechanical engineering and some electrical/electronic experience is essential
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial production, food or maintenance setting that includes conveyor systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • EWRB registration/EST A/B would be nice to have
  • Electrical awareness and the ability to read technical diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, and reliability-based maintenance.
  • Someone who is open to working shifts and on-call.
  • Based in NZ with full rights to work
