What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment faults
- Conducting site inspections and documenting maintenance activities
- Responding to emergency callouts when required
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Assisting with facility upgrades and improvement projects
- Coordinating with external contractors for specialist services
- Maintaining accurate records and inventory
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in building or facility maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to confidently use tools, diagnostic equipment, and read technical documents
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, safety-first mindset
- Technical certification or trade qualification
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Forklift licence or welding/fabrication skills
