About the Role
We’re looking for a hard-working Maintenance Labourer to join a busy industrial site in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role involving general maintenance support, labouring duties, and working safely around Dangerous Goods (DG).
If you enjoy physical work, using tools, and being part of a supportive team, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General labouring and site maintenance tasks
- Assisting trades and maintenance staff with repairs and equipment checks
- Safe handling, movement, and storage of Dangerous Goods
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and hazard‑free
- Following all health & safety procedures and site protocols
- Labouring, factory, or maintenance experience
- Dangerous Goods endorsement or proven DG handling experience
- Physically fit – able to lift, carry, and use hand tools
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
