We are seeking a Temporary Machine Operator with a strong mechanical engineering mindset to join our team on either a day or afternoon shift in Bromley, Christchurch. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating various machinery and a keen understanding of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Ensure machinery is set up correctly for production runs
- Monitor production processes and adjust as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator
- Mechanical engineering knowledge or background
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have the correct working rights in NZ
- Have a clean criminal history
- Can pass a pre-employment drug test
