The Role
You will be managing the day-to-day scheduling of a team, supporting field crews, and helping deliver complex projects smoothly, safely, and profitably.
This is a chance to apply your field experience to a role where you shape how jobs are delivered, resolve technical challenges before they hit the field, and be a trusted internal expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule work for field teams across overhead and underground projects
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and technical staff
- Solve technical challenges before they hit the ground
- Help scope and bid for new projects
- Review risks, prevent outages, and ensure safety + quality are never compromised
- Support inspection/test planning and technical documentation
- Regular, predictable hours and weekends to yourself! – no more strange callouts
- Bring your field knowledge to the planning table
- Work with a respected name in the energy infrastructure sector
- Training and professional development are actively supported

- Electrical Trade Cert + EWRB license
- Strong hands-on experience in the HV field as a Line Mechanic, Cable Jointer or similar. (essential)
- Solid understanding of NZ electrical networks, regulations, and field practices
- Confident communicator – able to write up brief reports and interface with clients
- Keen to step into a coordination/planning role
- NZ citizen/residency
