Key Responsibilities
- Site Preparation
- Clear and level ground for steel framing foundations
- Assist with layout marking and positioning of structural elements
- Dig trenches or prepare footings for steel posts
- Steel Frame Construction
- Carry, position, and secure steel beams, columns, and trusses
- Assist with bolting, welding, or fastening steel components under supervision
- Operate basic tools (drills, grinders, impact wrenches) safely
- Insulation & Cladding
- Handle and install insulated panels (EPS, PIR, or similar)
- Fit wall and roof cladding materials (metal sheets, insulated panels)
- Seal joints and ensure proper thermal and moisture protection
- General Labour
- Load, unload, and move construction materials
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite
- Support carpenters, welders, and other trades as required
- Assist in the safe handling of heavy steel and insulated panels
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
- Basic knowledge of steel construction and insulation materials
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Outdoor and indoor construction sites
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Collaboration with builders, welders, and site supervisors
