As part of a close-knit engineering team, you'll play a critical role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Fault finding and repair of electrical, automation, and control systems
- Maintaining site-wide LV and ELV electrical infrastructure
- Installing, upgrading, and commissioning plant equipment
- Supporting plant improvements, upgrades, and capital projects
- Maintaining lighting, instrumentation, and automated systems
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
- Working closely with production teams to optimise plant performance
- Coordinating contractors and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- NZ Registered Electrician (Level 4)
- Current EWRB practising licence (or close to obtaining)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial, manufacturing, or processing environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with control systems, automation, or instrumentation
- A practical, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving ability
- A positive, team-focused attitude
