We’re looking for someone who loves the HVAC industry, understands the technology, and thrives on helping customers find the right solution — from chillers through to DX equipment and full-service support packages.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in driving new business while supporting an established customer base across Wellington, Napier, and parts of the Lower and Central North Island.

You’ll be backed by a highly skilled technical and service team, enabling you to focus on what you do best — building relationships, understanding customer needs, and offering smart, reliable HVAC solutions.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing new business opportunities and closing sales across:
    • Preventive maintenance contracts
    • Equipment upgrades & retrofits
    • Breakdown/reactive repairs
    • Spare parts, consumables & bundled service packages
  • Working closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams on solution design and proposals
  • Understanding customer needs and presenting compelling, tailored business cases
  • Managing and nurturing long-term relationships with facility managers, asset owners, consultants, and procurement teams
  • Driving growth within existing accounts and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Staying up to date with market trends and competitor offerings
  Who We’re Looking For
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, technology, and industry practices is a must-have
  • A technical trade or qualification in the HVAC industry (ideal but not essential)
  • Previous sales experience is an advantage, or a strong desire to step into sales
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence in discussing technical solutions
  • A consultative, relationship‑driven approach to customer engagement
  • Ability to work autonomously while being an engaged team contributor
  • Someone with NZ residency/citizenship / full work rights is required
