This position will see you working across a range of fabrication and welding projects, producing high-quality work to specification and industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Heavy fabrication of structural steel and industrial components
- Pipe fabrication and welding
- Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Workshop assembly and fit-up work
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and safety
- Working independently and collaboratively within a skilled team
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Fabricator and Welder
- Strong background in pipe fabrication and pipe welding
- Experience welding both carbon steel and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Excellent fabrication skills with strong attention to detail
- A solid understanding of workshop safety and quality standards
