Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Maintenance Worker to join our team temporarily. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, repairing broken fixtures, painting, and carpentry work.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain and organise tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.
- Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker.
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
