The Role
This position offers variety across machinery and daily tasks. You’ll be operating 40–50 tonne excavators fitted with grapple and bell attachments, supporting container handling, material processing, and truck movements. From time to time, you’ll also operate a heavy container-handling forklift.
The site is a hands-on, fast-moving yard environment, with multiple machines operating throughout the day. It’s well suited to an operator who enjoys staying active, working safely, and being part of a capable, close-knit crew.
What We’re Looking For
- Full clean Class 1 licence(Class 2 preferred)
- WTR endorsement
- 2+ years’ experience as an operator and solid experience in operating large excavators (40–50T ideal)
- Confident with slew controls and working from an elevated cab
- Comfortable working in a busy industrial yard
- Experience from forestry, port, or heavy industrial sites is an advantage
- Team-first attitude — reliable, safety-focused, and easy to work with
- Based in NZ with full work rights.

- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Saturday work on a roster
