We’re working with an innovative power leader that’s investing in its people and infrastructure. You’ll be out in the field inspecting and testing key parts of Wellington’s power network — helping keep the lights on across the region.

What you’ll be doing:

• Surveying and inspecting distribution and substation assets (overhead lines, poles, ground-mounted equipment)
• Testing pole strength and identifying defects
• Recording findings using digital tools and software
• Collaborating with technical teams and attending review meetings
• Using and maintaining specialist equipment with a strong focus on safety

• A current  EWRB Practising Licence  (essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• A reliable self-starter who enjoys working independently
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel across the Wellington region (and occasionally beyond)
