A Class 5 licence is highly valued, but success in this role comes down to your ability to plan, prioritise, and manage the moving parts of a busy transport operation.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and coordinating daily and weekly transport jobs
- Dispatching work efficiently — matching the right trucks to the right jobs
- Acting as the main point of contact for drivers and operations
- Managing supplier enquiries, quotes, and logistics coordination
- Supporting weighbridge operations and transaction processing
- Maintaining accurate dispatch records and system updates
- Supporting site H&S and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in dispatch, transport coordination, or logistics planning
- Background in trucking or heavy transport (essential)
- Strong understanding of fleet capability and job allocation decisions
- Confident using systems and admin processes
- Able to communicate clearly with drivers and make decisions under pressure
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
