Diesel Mechanic – Permanent, Full‑Time
Location: Porirua, Wellington
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
Pay: $38 – $45 per hour, depending on experience

A well‑established, locally respected automotive workshop is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their crew in Porirua. About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • A Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic, or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with heavy diesel engines
  • Strong diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills
  • A neat, organised approach and pride in producing high‑quality work
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Preference will be given to New Zealand citizens or residents, or candidates who already have full New Zealand work rights.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing diesel (primarily) and petrol engines
  • Working across a mix of heavy trucks, commercial vehicles, 4WDs, and passenger cars
  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work to a high standard while meeting safety and quality requirements
