Auckland | Full-time, Permanent | Mid-September Start
Customer Service | Internal Sales | Order Management | Logistics
Are you the person who keeps customers informed, orders moving and internal teams connected?
We’re looking for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join an established international business operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
This is not a high-volume call centre position.
It’s a hands-on, commercially focused customer service role where you’ll take ownership of customer requirements from initial enquiry and quotation through to order fulfilment and invoicing.
Working closely with Sales, Warehouse and Production, you’ll become a key point of contact for customers — ensuring orders are accurate, expectations are managed, and issues are resolved before they become problems.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Coordinating orders from receipt through to fulfilment and invoicing
- Maintaining accurate customer, pricing and order information within the ERP system
- Monitoring stock availability, back orders and delivery requirements
- Liaising closely with Sales, Warehouse and Production
- Coordinating freight and transport requirements
- Proactively communicating delays, changes and delivery updates
- Managing customer complaints, returns and credits
- Supporting reporting and general sales administration
- Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and internal processes
- You'll ideally bring previous experience in Customer Service, Internal Sales, Sales Coordination, Order Management or a similar operational role.
- You’ll be someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
- Experience using an ERP or order management system will be highly regarded, as will exposure to manufacturing, industrial products, warehousing, logistics or supply chain environments.
- You'll also need strong Microsoft Office capability and, most importantly, the confidence to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders when priorities change.
- Why consider this opportunity? This is an opportunity to join an international organisation where Customer Service plays an important role in the wider operation.
- You'll have visibility across the full customer and order life-cycle and work closely with multiple areas of the business rather than operating within an isolated customer service function.
