Customer Service & Accounts Coordinator Dunedin
A well-established, busy service-based business is looking for a capable Customer Service & Accounts Coordinator to join their team.

Our client requires someone who is confident, articulate, highly organised, and comfortable managing both customer relationships and invoicing/administration accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for customers while also managing key administrative and invoicing processes that keep operations running smoothly. This role suits someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys being the  “go-to”  person for both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary customer liaison for inbound enquiries, service requests, and general support
  • Build strong, professional relationships with customers and ensure a high standard of service delivery
  • Manage end-to-end invoicing, including data accuracy, processing, and follow-ups
  • Support account queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinate between internal teams to ensure service and billing alignment
  • Maintain accurate records and system updates
  • Support general office and administrative functions as required
About You
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — articulate and confident
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or accounts support (preferred)
  • Comfortable working with invoicing or financial admin systems (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach when dealing with customers
  • Reliable, organised, and proactive
Training & Support
  • Full training will be provided for the right person.
  • The key requirements are attitude, communication ability, and willingness to learn.
  • Systems and processes can be taught — professionalism and customer presence cannot.
Why This Role
  • Stable, long-term position with strong training and support
  • Opportunity to step into a key operational role with real ownership
  • A structured handover is available
  • Supportive team environment
Urgency: This role needs to be filled as soon as possible to allow for a proper training overlap. Candidates available to start promptly will be prioritised.
