Cow Collaring Personal – Central Waikato
Are you comfortable working with cows and have a background in farming or agriculture? We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Cow Collaring person to join our team in the Central Waikato region.
Role Overview:
As a Cow Collaring person, you will be responsible for placing collars on cows, demonstrating the collaring process to farmers, and assisting with the collaring of the entire herd. This role requires someone who is confident around livestock and enjoys a varied workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place collars on cows safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate collaring techniques to farmers
- Monitor and assist with collaring the whole herd
- Travel between multiple farm sites in the Central Waikato area
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Typically start around 8:00 AM
- Comfortable working around cows and farm animals
- Farming or agricultural background preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport for travel between farms (mileage reimbursed)
