About the Role As a Construction Labourer with Enterprise Recruitment, you will work across a variety of civil and building sites throughout Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors
- Site preparation, digging, backfilling, and general labouring
- Handling and moving materials and equipment
- Supporting concrete, formwork, and foundation teams
- Operating basic hand and power tools
- Contributing to roading, drainage, and earthworks projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
What We’re Looking For We are seeking individuals who demonstrate:
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Previous labouring or construction experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Class 1 driver's licence
- WTR endorsements
- Site Safe or ConstructSafe
- Traffic control (TC/STMS) tickets
- Experience in civil, roading, or building environments
- Competitive hourly rates paid weekly
