Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 5 Driver/s for a temporary position in Wellington, specialising in pneumatic tanker discharge operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and discharge of bulk materials using pneumatic tankers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 5 vehicle with pneumatic tankers to transport and discharge bulk materials.
- Ensure the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of goods according to company and legal standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues or defects.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required documentation.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in operating pneumatic tankers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to bulk transportation.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
