About the role
You’ll carry out detailed carpentry work on commercial builds, including:
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
- Completing structural, framing, fit-out and finishing carpentry
- Installing fixtures, fittings and building components
- Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines
- Following health and safety requirements and maintaining a tidy work area
Ongoing work is project-dependent and will be influenced by your reliability, attitude, motivation and quality of workmanship.
About you
You’ll ideally have:
- A recognised carpentry qualification and proven commercial construction experience
- The ability to read plans and work accurately to specifications
- Reliable transport, your own tools and availability for early starts
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship safely and efficiently
You must also be legally entitled to work in New Zealand without restrictions.
