Our client is looking for high-skilled bricklayers for their busy Nelson business.
This is a long-term/permanent opportunity to work with a reputable, well-established family business who value their staff. You would be working on new residential and commercial buildings, walls, fences, and chimneys.
They are looking for the following skills/experience:
- Laying bricks, blocks, and pavers for residential and commercial structures
- Building walls, fences, facades, retaining walls, and feature finishes
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and technical drawings
- Altering, repairing and restoring brickwork
- Measuring materials, cutting bricks, and applying mortar with precision
- Ensuring all brickwork is plumb, level, and completed to a high standard
- Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines
- Maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping the worksite safe and tidy
- Excellent rates relative to your experience ($35 - $40 per hr)
- Qualifications are an advantage, but not essential
- Must have 3 + years experience
- Relocation costs will be supported if required
