Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operator for an ongoing position in Napier. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of bitumen spray equipment, ensuring the accurate and efficient application of bitumen on road surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage bitumen spray equipment per safety standards and project requirements.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate bitumen application.
- Monitor the quality of spray operations and make necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a Bitumen Sprayer Operator in road construction or maintenance.
- Strong understanding of bitumen spraying techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and relevant operator certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Class 4 licence and RTW.
- Duration: Ongoing.
- Hours: 0700-1700.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Clean licence.
- MOJ checks.
- Compensation: Depending on experience.
