About Me:
Whilst I have worked in a variety of areas across my career, for the last 17 years, my focus has centred around people leadership and labour market planning. I have always had an interest in all elements of workforce development, along with working alongside businesses to plan and reach solutions for their future workforce requirements. This interest has seen me lead the labour market team at the Ministry of Social Development, support the exciting work at Tokona Te Raki at Ngai Tahu, engage in the mahi of the Regional Skill Leadership Group and operate my own consultancy business.
I am excited to be a part of the Enterprise team and support with skill development, performance enhancement, and continue to build a strong workforce within the setting of recruitment.
Area of Specialty:
I love seeing individuals and teams reach their potential and playing my part in building an environment where they can shine. I also enjoy being able to work alongside the national team and celebrating their talents and successes.
After Work:
When we can find time away from our small block of land in North Canterbury, my husband and I enjoy caravanning, fishing and relaxing in the Ashburton lakes district. Holidays also have been known to take us around NZ and Oz, usually by road and often to out-of-the-way locations. I enjoy stopping into smaller remote areas, seeing the sights, engaging with locals and hearing their stories, and it always gives you great stories when you get home.
