An emphasis on building long term relationships with valued clients has proven itself a winner yet again. As a result of this philosophy Enterprise is set to play a key role in the construction of Christchurch Hospital’s new Acute Services Building.

The Health Minister, Jonathan Coleman, called the new hospital building with a budget of $445 million, “the single biggest Government project in the Canterbury rebuild”. When it opens in 2018, the Acute Services Building will have 12 new operating theatres and procedure rooms, an expanded intensive care unit, state-of-the-art radiology, acute medical assessment, expanded emergency department, and a rooftop helipad.
The build is projected to generate 900 new jobs in the region and Enterprise Recruitment is set to have a hand in sourcing many of those candidates. This opportunity has come about through a stellar reputation in the Canterbury region and in particular a great relationship with the main sub contractors. Enterprise has developed a good understanding with a number of these sub contactors over the last 12 months.

The first stage of Enterprise’s involvement with this massive project will be bringing in 20 experienced Pipe Fitters from offshore. This will involve sourcing qualified candidates and then assisting them with every stage of their move to New Zealand. From handling their right to work in the country to finding their accommodation and helping them settle in the region, along with on going pastoral care.
This represents a massive opportunity and is a great reinforcement of the company's philosophy of putting a priority on building strong, long term relationships.
